Daytime flashing front light: good or bad idea?
As we are discussing front lights, any recommendations for a cheap front light - I am not interested in a mini searchlight.

Boy, 15, given six points on future driving licence for speeding on scooter
So I assume he will apply for a provisional licence at 16 so he can get rid of the points as soon as possible.

Optimist
I don't think they have a chance in hell of changing the law for their scooters, certainly not within a year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-46103713

What scam lol
You feel that they would catch more people if the reductions weren't so ridiculous.

Rebuilding a Wisper 905
As someone who still has an original 905SE which is still going strong, albiet with one of Jimmy's rebuilt 36V batteries I was wondering about any advice/ recommendation as to which controller upgrade and what it will offer in terms of rideability.

Woman fighting for life after 'e-bike' hit-and-run in east London
See the make of the bike has been released: "Police later found the mountain bike-style powered cycle, made by Specialized, abandoned less than a mile away in Approach Close, Stoke Newington." So not a cheap shopping bike ~ be interesting to see if it was dongled, I am sure the police will be examining it closely.

Car Jump starter
I've a Qashqai with a reasonably new battery but i sat parked with the air con on for 10min and that is what killedthe battery as obviously i had the ignition on as well. Now with our bike batteries they dont like to be unused for a few months at a time so how do the charging packs cope with not being discharged for long periods?

Car Jump starter
Having been caught with a flat battery on the car I think it is time to carry a jump starter with me. The question is should I go for a traditional sealed battery type like : https://www.manomano.co.uk/heavy-duty-jump-starter-3439?model_id=5902754&referer_id=537135&ach=ec9b0&achsqrt=c4a77&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7LL579-_3AIVF7cbCh1E9AvUEAkYBCABEgKyP_D_BwE or a more modern type like, https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/232752671089?chn=ps

Problems with Bosch Bearings??....
I agree Bosch should step up, but irrespective of who makes the bearings and seals it was Bosch who designed the unit and signed them off as fit for the task.

Problems with Bosch Bearings??....
To have multiple instances of this happening points to poor design, if it is possible for people to use an ebike in a fundamentally wrong way.

AA renewal.
Every year used to play the same game with the AA for the 50% reduction. Now just alternate between AA and RAC via QUIDCO.

My review of the Dillenger Opia 2.0 - and why to avoid Dillenger at all costs
My view is that you put something on FB for all the world to see then dont be surprised when they do. I am surprised they contravene the GDPR when they have a valid relationship with them as a customer.

I have this one, on the android app you can set the heart monitor frequency ~ mine is set to continuous. My only criticism is that the display is a little to dim.
