June 1, 201312 yr ^^ OK. Im sure this will be up for sale soon, if/when the Greyborg frames are released. ... and a few kw of power in the wheels ? . Must admit when I looked at them they seem pretty much the perfect starting point for a high powered build - loads of in-frame volume and no fannying about trying to fit square pegs in round holes. No more expensive than a 2nd hand high-end MTB either. Things are moving on pretty .. fast .. in this area !
June 1, 201312 yr Author It was about $1200 for motor and frame shipped last time I spoke to Accountant on Endless Sphere. Compared to other options available, that's good value. The next build will be 30s, good for 60 mph. It's not the top speed I like (I doubt I'll come close to that speed) its the acceleration. I have already bought a set of Marzocchi Bombers and rebuilt them, Hope M4 brakes, Hope 203mm floating disks etc. Just awaiting the frames to be manufactured...still

July 8, 201312 yr new to this sort of thing but very intrested in learning thats awsome the speeds your attaining!
July 21, 201312 yr Bump, can't believe this hasn't sold at this price. I wonder if the relatively small battery is holding it back. A powerful off-road ebike appeals to me in my dreams, but I'd want 20ah, rather like the bike Alex of this parish has.
July 21, 201312 yr A higher voltage bike runs with less amps for the same power, but obviously, if you use the full power available, your battery won't last as long. 100v 10aH is equivalent to 36v 25aH.

The OP, very fairly, gives a max range of 30 miles. On a bike that eats distance, that isn't very far. Or put another way, you might only be able to go out to play on it for a couple of hours. Nowhere near enough time for me. Of course, other riders may think differently.
July 21, 201312 yr Author Have you ridden a hard tail bike with 16 x 6s 5000ah packs inside it, approx 13kg? It will ride like a pig. ..and where are you going to put the packs, they wont fit in the bag; over the rear wheel, nope. You will need to look at a Stealth Bomber, Greyborg, Phasor frame e.t.c. There aren't many motors available you will be able to run 4hours (20ah) at the 40mph, if any. You are comparing something completely different, and a lot more expensive to this bike. 30 miles range is comparable, if not greater than the majority of the bikes on this forum.
