Bosch 400 battery range

Featured Replies

Bought a couple of Bosch Cube bikes at the weekend and wanted to know the range.

I rode up to Tan Hill yesterday - a total of 48.5 miles and 5400 feet of ascent. The battery ran out at 45 miles. At this point it was almost flat and down hill, but I changed the battery anyway and cruised home quite effortlessly. I did put in a lot of effort, riding without power when it was flatish and using bottom gear on the hills in tour or sport mode. I only used Turbo mode once when I was getting tired and the hill was about 25%. Overall, in this hilly area, I think about 35 - 40 miles is the effective range - a pleasant ride without the effort of the steep hills.

With that amount of ascent that's excellent.
