I was wondering whether it had a sound generator or if the motor was just noisy, or both. Can't imagine an electric motor (especially a geared one like this has) going vroom on its own, though....:D

There's a small army of teenagers round here who would kill for one of these. :D

If it came over at the total of $1500 / £750 for the electric it would have been possible for them. Bets are it will be £1500 here though. :(

:D All quantity and little quality, I'm afraid. Maybe the first to make it to Senior before his bike arrived, but I've had great advice and some laughs on the way
Doesn't look like my old Ducati Monster! Where does the battery go?

Not the Montrosity. :p

This one has somewhere for batteries.

Imagine the range! where do you get this weird stuff?

I dug deep in Miles' link above. There's an endless source of fun out there masquerading as cycle design.

.

I won't check it out as Senior Members must hit the sack to face bright young things in the office tomorrow:rolleyes: . Though am tempted to stay on line as I see 50C are on line too- doubtless checking what we're saying...;) . Have PM'd you on similar vein.

I'm new to the forum.... the reason I stumbled here is from the interest I have in the Gocycle. Knowing the designer personnaly I know how much research and development he has put into this bike. From the lightweight materials and cutting edge technology this bike is incredible.

Someone wanted to know where the battery pack is located. It is located in the frame section. the pack can be removed from the back of the bike.

The speed is capped at around 15mph Europe and 18mph US. The motor is capable of faster speeds via a different battery pack "Lithium-ion battery" (not available at this time)

For more information see the website @

Thanks PsionicWiz, welcome to the forum.

As said above, I like the style, though not for me as it stands, rear suspension too inefficient for pedalling. I could see it selling if the price was ok though.

Any news on production plans or wishes?

.

Thanks, I'll look forward to further announcements. Something very different like this could stir up extra interest in cycling. Media "friendly".
