Conhismotor 48V 1000W controller/motor

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've recent purchased an e-bike kit from Conhismotor and I have discovered that the equipment may not be working.

I purchased the 5-speed 48V 1000W controller, 48V 1000W motor for the front wheel of the bicycle, and a 48V 20Ah Li-ion battery for my kit. It also came with the twist throttle, brakes, LCD display, and the pedelec sensor (which I know very little about).

I have connected all the equipment correctly and I have discovered the the motor/wheel does not move when the throttle is pulled. I can hear a clicking but there is no visible movement in the wheel. I have not attached the wheel to my bike yet because I want to make sure it works before I attach everything.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You have the wrong phase/hall sequence. Don't use more than 1/4 throttle 'til it's sorted. The motor is effectively stalled like that. Use this table to sort it:
