How do you adjust the brake lever for small hands.

Featured Replies

I have just got a new bike and the brake levers are too far way from the handlebars. There doesn't appear to be an adjustment screw for this as on normal bikes. How do I resolve this. I have asked the supplier but so far they don't know how it can be adjusted. My bike is a Whoosh Zephyr CDN. I haven't been able to use the bike yet!

are your fingers a bit short and you can't hold on to the levers?

could post a picture like this one? we'll see the problem better.

I have rotated the lever to a better angle and this allows me to grip the lever. It is better but not best yet. The bike has had its maiden voyage to the village harbour and back. It was very enjoyable and the zephyr made light work of the hill and it didn't rain.

HI, could you glue a piece of plastic to the end of the moving lever where the cable is, cut a slot for the cable so it can be removed.

You could just sit it there initially and see how thick it would need to be to make the brakes more comfortable and safer long term.
