Tow bar carrier for single ebike

Featured Replies

I need to find a way of transporting an e-bike I'm about to purchase (I've had folding bikes in the past and they have fitted in the back of my hatchback). I already have a tow bar so it probably makes sense to go for that type. I only need one that can take a single bike (though most seem to be for two bikes minimum). I've seen, and am impressed, by the Thule ones but, miser that I am, there is NO way I'm paying that sort of price. Its not as if I'm going to be traveling long distances with it (20 miles or so per trip max) so I'm hoping someone can recommend a fairly inexpensive option. (I'm also a bit confused about the difference between "tow bar" and "hitch" options - is it just different name for the same type of fitting?)
