October 17, 20178 yr My Bosch motor (performance lince cruise) failed within 50km. Bosch are asking for the motor number in order to replace it. Would i be able to give them a cx motor number instead?
October 17, 20178 yr They will want the old motor back so you'd quickly be found out! In any case doesn't the Performance Line & CX have different mounts so won't be interchangeable?
October 17, 20178 yr Author the mounts are the same but they will only replace the motor you send them. They are asking for the motor number to send a new motor. Then the dealer will send the old one once its been swapped over
