February 12, 20206 yr I currently have a Carrera Crossfire E. I enjoy it a lot. It's fun to ride, and it's still pretty new. For whatever reason, my local Halfords are selling the Raleigh Felix at a fairly weighty discount. On the site it's roughly 1800, in store they have it for 1000. I'm wondering if anyone has tried one, or has any review of the bike, and how the Bosch mid drive system compares to the rear hub on the Crossfire. I'm tempted to grab it at that price and sell on the Carrera if the upgrade is significant enough. Thanks!
February 12, 20206 yr For £1000 it’s not bad, wouldn’t want to pay very much more. 300wh battery a bit limited if you want to go any distance. If this isn’t a concern I’m sure it would be a decent enough buy. Have a try on it first, it will probably feel a bit different as the torque sensor crank motor behaves quite differently to what you are used to. You might prefer it, you might not. Only you can tell.
