Hi, hoping for a bit of information on whether a dual mode controller will work with a non hall Bafang motor on my older Sirocco 2? Almost all of the controllers on E bay have hall wires. I've read that a hall type controller won't work with a non hall motor? There are no on hall controllers that I can see.

Any help appreciated.
