November 27, 20223 yr I have a BBS02, I don't have any connectors for the battery to the motor besides some blue and yellow butt connectors and a crimping tool. Will it be okay for me to use the butt connector to create a direct connection between the motor leads and the battery mount ones ? Should I use yellow or blue ones, blue ones are rated at 15A, I assume that is too low... Also, is it safe to have but connectors I'd properly crimped until I can get a soldering Iron? Also are XT90s pigtails safe if crimped ? Cheers

Cheers General advice only as I'm not qualified so what I did was to get some spare wire & spent some time learning how to solder - watch lots of youtubes then practise then use a connector that is rated for the amps of your motor/battery as otherwise you are just creating an old fashion wire fuse that will melt when under power
