Yamaha battery

Featured Replies

Hi, Does anyone in the Midlands have a working frame attached Yamaha battery from 2015/16 that I can use to quickly check my bike. Bike turns on then off and I don't know if its the battery or motor that's the problem. Thanks
Have you been through the troubleshooting that is in the manual (many copies online). No way would I put my battery on a suspect motor to prove which part is faulty when I could end up with a battery locked out with a fault which the motor has caused.

Thanks, I will go through the troubleshooting again. Is it easy to remove the motor or do you know someone who could do this?

I would reiterate chris_n comment above that it would be very unwisw to attacj a healthy battery to your bike as the fault could be transferred to the good battery and effectively brick it.

Look at comment #150 in linked thread!
