Woosh faro v camino torque?

Featured Replies

Hi there new here and trying to decide between the woosh faro and the camino. I prefer the road bike style of the faro compared to the mtb frame and fork on the camino but just concerned the faro might not have enough torque for the hills on my commute. Does anyone know what the torque is on each and even better do you know what actual motor is used?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The Faro is fitted with Aikema 85SX motor, maximum torque is 40NM.

The Camino is fitted with Shengyi DM-07 motor, maximum torque is 45NM

Also, the Camino has larger capacity battery, 15AH or 17.5AH against the Faro 8AH.

On the otherside, the Faro is much lighter 16.5kgs, you can lift it up with one hand, not the Camino 23kgs. The Faro is also cheaper at £999.

Which one is better for you? The Faro is excellent for commutes around 10 miles away from home, the Camino has a much bigger range.

Hi thanks for the quick response! Ideally I would like the faro with the shengyi motor and 15AH battery lol! This is the issue with bikes you can never quite find the exact combo you want! Will you be doing the faro with the bigger battery at some point again and does this still have the internal battery as well or is the internal battery casing just empty in this option?

We can supply the Faro with both 8AH + 12A controller and 17AH + 16A controller. The latter delivers 45NM meter instead of 40NM because the controller is more powerful. The range of the Faro with 17.5AH battery is about 70 miles.

Is the faro with 17.5AH battery in stock now?

We assemble them when needed.

As it's not a big seller and also time consuming to build one off, we tend not to accept orders for Faro with 17AH when we are busy. We can build the Faro with 20AH battery too if you need 80-100 mile range.

Thanks. What would the price be for the faro with the 17AH+16AH controller and a 17AH battery please? Also roughly what would the weight be if you know? Finally where is the controller held on the faro please?

Woosh Faro + 8AH: £999, the Lishui 12A controller is inside the seattube, 17.5kgs

Woosh Faro with 17.5AH: £1309, the Lishui 16A controller is at the base of the battery, 20kgs

Woosh Faro with 20AH: £1329, the Lishui 16A controller is at the base of the battery.

Thank you. Can I also just ask if I got a DWG022 with the bag battery, would this controller need to be fitted separately or is it in the bag or part of the hub?
For this combo, we put the controller in the bag with the battery. If you want to order it now, there is about 1 week waiting for the controller to land.

Thank you. I have sent an email to your kit inbox with a few questions and details about my donor bike. Hope that's okay!
