October 11, 20232 yr I used to have a Kalkhoff S- Pedelec with the Impulse motor. Despite all the issues with the Impulse motor, it was a great bike. Its gone now and I have been getting by with a bike with a cytronex kit. Its great for what it is, but it cannot do long steep hills in North Wales ( overheating) and has a comparatively small battery. So I have decided its time for another proper ebike. I am thinking of another kalhoff and wondering about this one https://www.kalkhoff-bikes.com/en_gb/kh0010009v2020-endeavour-7-b-excite-45 I want to be able to do rides up to 70miles over hilly terrain with some inclines of 20% and some very long climbs. I realise I may need to get a second battery. Another option would be a Wisper, which would have the benefit that I could share a second battery with my wife who already has a Wisper. I realise this one would limit me to a frustrating 15mph. https://wisperbikes.com/shop/e-bikes/crossbar-ebikes/wayfarer-m9-mid-drive-crossbar/ Any opinions? Better alternatives? Chris Smith
October 11, 20232 yr Thats a great bike I have the khalkhoff bs10 endeavor high speed 10 years old now and over 25000 miles on it,Still working 100% and in use a few times a week. I looked at that bike when I got another new bike this year but for similar price went for a Riese and Muller charger high speed instead. It's still a great bike though with great spec so get it if you can.I think I saw a bike shop selling it in London somewhere which had it in stock. Edited October 11, 20232 yr by Solarbake
