He very kindly uploaded this clean hi-res pic of his certificate we could digitally alter and print out too - mine will be signed off by "Stirling Moss".

The Pedibal E-Cruiza® is advertised as being for "mixed terrain" - would the heavy upside down battery held on by just it's plastic mount break off, when riding offroad? Perhaps it slides partway into a square retaining tube under the seat?

Sorry I missed this thread. That's the bike review I watched yesterday. That's a terrible bike. I appreciate it will suit some people but not me as a bike rider.

Still needs a number plate !

No it doesn't, since it's 250-Watt LPM, a sub class of L1e-A with ministerial permission to be treated as a normal EAPC (pedelec).

I bought one, it's fun to ride yet the seat is like concrete

One of my saddles is like concrete, Dahon's original "Biologic SDG I-Beam" for the Helios... which in other ways is a good saddle - I've been meaning to get a custom padded leather cover for made for it, is that an option where you are? Someone down the road has made alternations and repairs to one of my leather jackets, and I'm sure I can talk her into it. She's a skilled leather worker and very partial to eclairs. She even has her own stock of leather and other upholstery materials. Upholsterers are everywhere around here.

Annoys me when you see a sticker like that, that states 'Made by Pedibal' when clearly they have just imported a ebike from Asia likely China. There seemed a lot more honesty in the past when items actually said on them 'Imported by' rather than European and US firms pretending they have manufactured the product. Unless you are bow legged like an old cowboy it doesn't look a comfortable bike to pedal but I guess the point is you don't have to pedal that's just an occasional option.

I bought a sheet of gel from Amazon, not tinkered with it yet.

Yes indeed the point is I don't need to pedal, although it's not so uncomfortable as you might think to do so. At the end of the day it's a fun bike.

The origin battery placement seems a bit weird to me, you probably could fit another battery to the downtube. I imagine that it will be a big hit with food delivery riders and young people.

I'm 61

I'm 61

Reminds me of when a child asked a woman how old she was and she said '62' and the child responded after a short pause 'I guess you are preparing for death' which the woman was not amused by. I'm not much younger than you I should add.
