All depends if you have money to waste ? A lad at work hit a custom built one £10,000 seat post was £750 but they broke into his shed and knicked it. Police said it would have been knicked by order they even took the tracker out. Insurance will not pay out as they broke in through the side of the shed they said it was not secure enough

I didn't mean spending 10K on a bike. Mine is worth maybe 1K and I love it. I don't think it is much worse than this 10K bike you mentioned.

What I meant was perhaps you should buy something you love and use it. If you are not happy with what you have, then allocate some funds for what you would love. Is it a waste? I don't see it like that. After all you can't put a price on mental and physical health.

I’ve had it over two years now and love like it had the handle bars raised about 4” had them standard hydraulic disc brakes swapped to a shamans set full aluminium mudguards and extra lights

Hello All, Al here, Cube Hybrid Touring Pro 625 pedelec owner since July 2023. Male 54, endurance runner, so I get a lot of grief from my running and 'proper' cycling friends.... Up until last July I had cycled 30 miles in 12 years, so I'm making up for that now, having cycled 2300 miles in 14 months. Trying to reduce my short journey car use, but also enjoying taking the bike on family holidays and longer weekend cycles where I can arrive at a cafe or pub not drenched in sweat having blown my @rse off getting there. Also enjoying towing my daughter on her Frog 53 with the oh-so-clever FollowMe Tandem bracket. She's nearly 7, too old for running buggies or trailers, but too young to cover much more than a few miles under her own steam. We can rack up 30+ miles no problem on the Cube and that's quite liberating. My wife is moving over to the dark side too, having just ordered a Specialised Turbo Vado lightweight pedelec.
