January 18, 20251 yr Here's a picture of my Nexus 5 hub after being put back together as per advice received here, YT videos and the snaps I took whilst taking it all apart. T'other end of the axle is clamped in the vice. Wheel turns freely clockwise but not anticlock. Have I cocked up or do I need another coffee?

I'm not sure, but I think you have to set the gears before you pass judgement on success.
