April 9, 20251 yr I eventually got my Impact Compact Display unit and have had it fitted by a reputable Kalkhoff engineer. Everything is working fine except the battery condition gauge which is invisible on the screen . When toggling between the various modes it does appear for a brief second before turning off. Any thoughts on how to make the battery display permanent. I have gentle cleaned all terminals. Toggled through the different screens..all with no success. The Kalkoff Any ideas ....

April 10, 20251 yr Author Thank you for reply. It's the original battery fitted. The red lights on the battery indicate its present capacity. These values do not appear on the display (in the form if a vertical block graph)

I'm probably wrong because it's been a long time since I messed with Impulse stuff, but I had it at the back of my mind that the LCD had it's own button cell for backup of some sort. I just did a Google search, but can't find anything on it.
