September 19, 2025Sep 19 Hi The back wheel won't spin freely. I was wondering if this is because of the magnets.
September 19, 2025Sep 19 It should spin freely - something maybe rubbing - brakes ? Turn it upside down and look carefully and see if you can identify what is rubbing against what

Turn it upside down and look carefully and see if you can identify what is rubbing against what Thanks Peter. I had to remove the back wheel to put in a new inner tube. That must have caused it. So the wheel should spin freely just like on an ordinary bike? I forgot to mention the bike is a Carrera Crossfire.

September 19, 2025Sep 19 Good question. Possibly not. I'll investigate. Many thanks. A Crossfire wheel should spin just like a normal bike but only in the forward direction. When you spin it backwards, there is some resistance from the motor, so it'll do maybe one or two turns from a good spin.
