April 29, 201114 yr From across the pond, no less- Fountain Hills, Arizona. Larry Ward, retired physician. I have owned an EV Global Motors EBike 24V since 1999. I am currently converting it to one of the China- supplied 100W48V brushless motors, rear wheel drive, and a 20AH lithium battery. I live in a hilly region, and the old 400W whiny motor and lead acid battery did not get me home! I am likewise converting 2 tandems to front wheel drive electric for family fun, and may start to convert other vintage, rehabbed bikes to electric for resale. I also play with and repair/rstore old Lionel electric trains.
