July 23, 201114 yr A customer brough a bike without battery into the shop today, asking if we can get him a battery to suit his Bliss Extreme. There were few markings identifying the manufacturer, but the motor was marked Tarn. Any pointers to where the gentleman may source a new battery appreciated...
July 23, 201114 yr I rather doubt it's this scooter style Bliss X-treme with pedals, but if so, it seems it uses four 12 volt batteries for it's 48 volts, type not mentioned in the speech but probably SLA. No UK connection, but handles by Urban Scooters in the USA.
July 23, 201114 yr Author Thanks Tony I should have given more info: it's actually a 16" wheel folder. The gent quite liked it and it seemed worth saving. I really should have taken a picture...
July 23, 201114 yr I think I know the one you mean Bob, though I didn't know it ever had the Extreme name. The rear wheel Tarn motor was very much like an SB one but the lowest powered e-bike on the market at the time. Here's a photo of the one I mean: I'm fairly sure it's battery was NiMh, but no-one handles Bliss in the UK now. Maybe recelling is a possibility?
July 23, 201114 yr Author Yep - That's the one. He had no battery, so, if anyone has a battery to sell then I have the contact details. Thanks a lot Tony!
August 20, 201213 yr What ever happened to this bike? did you find a battery for it.? I have just acquired one of these bikes..with a battery that I am not going to use, 24 volt NiMh 9Ah. If thwe fate of this bike is know I would be interested in either passing on the battery pack, or alternatively getting hold of the frame if a battery was not found for it
August 20, 201213 yr Author Hi Neil I will let him know of your interest and get back to you with any response. Let's hope he still has it.

January 22, 201511 yr Sorry I never got back to yo on this. The e-mail notification on this forum seem to work some time and sometime not. i found this thread again by mistake, looking for info bout this bike type again. I am seeing if Li Ping can make me a pack to fit in the original box. May swap controller too and up the voltage, to get a bit more than 11 mph out of it.
