Stupid Question. UK Law. Would two 250w motors fitted be classed as 500w?

I think you would need to get a copy odf the relevant Act of Parliament and or Statutory Instrument to be sure of the wording. I would e mail or write to the Dept responsible for the legislation for clarification.

    hello from bonny

Hello From Falkirk. I take it that you will be after a folding bike? If so I strongly recommend that you take your car down and check how they fit. I have a Kudos Secret. If you fold it up fully which takes a few minutes it will not take up too much space. If you do not take the time to fold...

    New to Electric Bikes

I'd also suggest a trip to Alien Ocean in Lochgelly. Give them ring first to arrange a meeting. If you want a test ride I'd suggest you ask them what they want in terms of ID / Deposit. I found the guy quite helpful and they not only sell kits they do a fitting service as well. The only reason I...

    Hello From Scotland

Have only had a couple of short rides on the bike in the last few days as I've developed pneumonia! Hopefully when I'm fixed and the weather is better I'll get out again.

If this goes ahead it will be a MAJOR Boost for E Bikes and could stop the Bank Heist

Looks like BORIS could be a shot in the arm for the E Bikes movement. Boris Johnson plans to give police electric bikes that 'can climb stairs' - Telegraph I've also found that VOLT are doing electric bike hire in London and might give it a go when I'm down in April. I'm then off to...

    Hello From Scotland

Drove up to Torduff Reservoir and took the bike up the side of Torduff and Clubbiedean reservoirs. Was going to go on to two others but too much ice on the track so turned back.

    Hello From Scotland

Got out on Sunday to Falkirk for some shopping. I must admit I'd not noticed how poor the facilities were for securing bikes in our so called 'Retail Parks'. Got a helmet and trip computer which looks horribly complicated to fit. OK ride both there and back equals about 8 miles. Monday I had...

    Hello From Scotland

Hi Jim, I'm off to Manchester (by car) tomorrow otherwise I'd suggest a meet. Can recommend the Four Marys for food and good beer. Also Platform 3 (no food) but excellent beer.

    Hello From Scotland

Day 2. About 4 miles down to Linlithgow on a road that seemed a lot hillier than when done by bus or car! Came across a new piece of cycle track. Very impressive. About 400 yards long then nothing! Avoided a very busy roundabout at the junction with the motorway by crossing road and using...

    Hello From Scotland

Found my gloves and went back out. Very pleased with the performance up a long and quite steep hill to the station and canal. Resisted the temptation to pass a guy in all the gear on what looked like a racing bike. The gears are taking a little getting used to as it's years since I've been on a...

    Hello From Scotland

Bike arrived at 12 noon. Was out for a test ride round the block and back by 1pm. Too cold to stay out longer! Battery now on charge. Bike is larger than I thought even when folded so I will have to rethink where I'm going to keep it. Instuctions were adequate but I had to phone Kudos to ask...

    The Kudos 'Ambassador' Scheme

I'm delighted to have signed up for this scheme and am looking forward to the arrival of my Kudos 'Secret' tomorrow. 21st Feb. Dave of Kudos could not have been more helpful explaining the scheme both by e mail and later by phone when I placed the order. I suspect it will be the only way for...

Call Me Paranoid, But would you

I offered my car keys and photo ID before going for a test ride from a cycle shop and if I was ever offering a test ride I'd want the same or a large bundle of cash.

    Hello From Scotland

Thank you for the welcome. I had spotted the forum on E Cigs. Hopefully I can avoid that route but it's handy to have a source of information should I need it. Knowing my luck the weather will turn for the worse when the bike arrives. Hopefully not and I learn to use it, if not daily, at least 3...
