    BBSHD BB fitment question

I use cassette spacer rings (Shimano plastic ones are ok, but Mavic do a lovely alloy one) to space out my BBS motors if needed, just the right inner/outer diameters;)

    Commuting on a BBSHD: report

I manage to fit 32-38t Raceface NW chainrings and outer Hope Lightweight bashrings on my Precialps adaptors...just been out to try a Shimano 44t 104BCD on the outer of a spare adaptor and it fits ok?!?

    Bafang 250watt mid drive

The paint was threadlock to stop the chainwheel working loose;)

    Commuting on a BBSHD: report

I'm with AK...buy a set of short/single chainwheel bolts and put it inboard (I run Precialps adaptors on all mine and there's plenty of clearance).

    Phil "the power" Taylor

Those won't be his for long if he parks at his local, The Blossoms in Great Moor;)

    Dropper post worth it?

+1 for the Thomson, I've got the Covert dropper on my Nukeproof Mega and couldn't live without it...been on there 3 years and never had to touch it, whereas the KS Lev that came on my Haibike gave up after 18 months and was unrepairable!

    Bbs02 crank clearance

When under power, the torque reaction will pull the clearance slightly wider as it's on the non-drive side...just make sure your swingarm bearings are ok tho!

    2017 NSBikes Django Evo hardtail/BBS02B

52/11...using pedaling, then throttle and tucked position for the 39.1 (pics show it fitted with the 38t NW for trail use) as I can't keep up with the pedals after 30 or so either.

    2017 NSBikes Django Evo hardtail/BBS02B

Another build as I've been missing my hardtail bike after selling the Cannondale SL1 Lefty...frame bought in the CRC sale for £160, the rest is from garage spares...Fox Factory 34 CTD forks, Mavic Crossmax WTS 275 Enduro wheels, Hope Tech3 E4 brakes (203/180), etc, etc...top speed on the flat is...

    Santa Cruz Heckler with BBS01B

Thought I'd update on my recent builds...this one is for friends to use when they come over...Santa Cruz Heckler 6 in Club Tropicana colours with a 36V 250W BBS01B (nice and legal for the haters out there) and 17Ah GA celled battery. It's been upgraded with Fox 36 160 TALAS RC2 forks, Crossmax...

What can I do to stop the BBSO1 dropping the chain on some gears?

We run 104BCD adaptors, NW chainrings (using 10sp), clutched derailleur and a chain guide and have never had a chain drop on any of our bikes (we run red and black trails), even on the 72mm BBs with a non-mechanically-sympathetic chainline.

Sparking when I plug the battery in to charge.

Yes...power the charger up before connecting to your battery

    Hollowtech Crank

Yes, that's the preload bolt (1.5Nm) for the BB bearings.

Is rain to blame for BBS01 problems

Manual says Error Code 04 is "Turn to no homing" or 转把没有归位(停在高位处)(which Google translates as "Turn to no return (parked in high office)" ...I've no idea what that refers to and have never experienced the problem you describe, but I'm sure there'll be someone knowledgeable along shortly;)

    Bosch ebike motor reliability

I've got a genuine Bosch socket for the lockring if you want to save some money...only used a couple of times and as new.

    Beer

Like grldtnr, Timmy Taylor Landlord is my choice when available and Czech Budvar for home consumption...I prefer dry cider in the summer though and drink Strongbow draught...cold and refreshing, but not too many if far from home on the bike:confused:
