    Battery for Wisper 905e Works.

Just wondering where I can buy a battery for the Wisper 905e, it's a 36v 14amp, and I'm a bit dismayed by what I hear is the price, about £500.00, apparently, though this suggestion from another e bike owner may be incorrect.. seems very steep for a battery for this bike, and rather negates the...

    Condition, condition,condition.

It's been quite a long time since I've posted, couldn't really think of much new to say was one of the reasons, but here goes with a topic. Yesterday I saw a sorry site, a Wisper 905se chained to a railing, all alone and looking very sorry for itself. Just about every screw, bolt, and nut was...

How often do you meet other members of the pedelecs site?

Not very often perhaps, but it happened yesterday, I was waiting for one of the Wight Link ferries to take me back to the mainland at Lymington, Hants after working on the island - one of the other ferries had broken down with serious gear failure and as I waited I saw two e cyclists on...

A week in Wales with the Wisper.

Just back from a week in Wales, very lovely country and near the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. This is not a plug for the Lakeside Caravan Park at Llangorse but it was all very nice, friendly and relaxing, though the people I went with seemed to only want in the main to go around antique...

    Wisper 905se battery price.

Not that I need one but I was told recently by another member that the price of a new battery for a Wisper 905, 14v 36 amp, is £470 00. I'm not disputing this figure, I really don't know, but it seems steep, I thought it was more like £120 to £150?

This thread loosely connected with e biking.

Can't find 'em anywhere. So I decided to do some painting of the side gate, it was geting quite rusty and the black paint starting to peel off, so I thought on Saturday last I'd re paint. I put the wire brush, the bottle of Kurust and the tin of Hammerite on the top of the brick post next to...

    A Bit Quicker.

I still very much like the e bike, Wisper 905se, but.... I've just bought a motorbike. A Kawasaki Ninja 250R, in the race colours of lime green. With fuel injection, and the latest engine design it goes, as you might expect like the proverbial rocket, though along the ground not above it, well...

    Wisper 905se Control Box

Great Service from Wisper bikes recently when the throttle (as I thought) on my 905 se gave trouble, no responce from it at all. Funny how these things seem to happen in the dead of night, it was fine the morning before! After a bit of a false start, it has to be said, it was arranged that I...

    Light Break.

Today tied the Garmin Navigator to the front light, on the handlebar, by cable ties, all seemed well until one almighty clatter. Because of the extra weight of the Garmin the light had broken away from it's bracket, which was still in tact, and shattered on the road , however the Garmin survived...

Cub bought from Harrods in the seventies. Please view.

Off topic and in the wrong forum I know but did anyone see that beautiful touching story of the lion cub Christian who was adopted by two Aussie guys who brought it up in London where of course it grew too big. They then took it to Africa and released it under the supervision of George Adamson...

    Fatal Trip

I've just seen on the BBC I player thingy, so a bit belatedley, the prog about the guy who attempted to Kyak from Tasmania (I think it was) to New Zealand (well it was late and I was tired), 1600 miles or so through some of the most treacherous roughest water in the world. My point is, I think...

    Just Laziness

Damn it! I knew the rear light was loose in it's bracket before I set off, but it looked fairly secure so I didn't do anything about it to make absolutely sure, when I got back the ligt had gone, dropped off somewhere in the sticks never to be seen again - by me anyway.

    Isn't it easy to?

    - Buy or, I suppose, to otherwise obtain the wrong, ie, not quite the ideal e bike. I had three goes before I settled on and am very pleased with the Wisper 905, but as a beginner a couple of years ago I really bought the wrong bike, not powerful enough with just it's 24v 10 amp hour battery...

    Poor Excuse

The main reason I find, that people object to owning an e bike is that they say they defeat the object, that is they won't get the exercise their after because the e bike takes away much of the need to peddle. My reply is - maybe some of the need is taken away, but because the electric bike is...
