Good plan, thanks. It's a bit of a longshot but I don't suppose anyone of a friendly, helpful and charitable disposition has a 48v battery and lives in Bristol do they (which is where the lady lives who bought my kit)? I used to live in Bristol but unfortunately now I'm 3.5hrs away. :-(

Selling my Ezee 700 rim conversion kit. This is the MK2 motor with the later controller and control panel. Not an entire kit as I used my own custom made battery which I'm keeping. I have decided to take it off my hybrid bike as I no longer use this for commuting and so just want to use my bike...

In case anyone has the same issue it turns out it's not the controller. Replacing the console/wiring loom has fixed the issue. There is no visible damage to any wiring but I have my suspicions with the junction box where all the wires converge before entering the console.

So I've ordered a new controller, wiring harness and console, by process of elimination I'll see which one is faulty and return what I don't need. Cyclezee has been a great help with this. Fantastic customer service!

If you have a lifepo4 battery then you can ignore the LED voltage indicator as it's virtually meaningless. Lifepo4 give almost full power until the moment they die so this is both good and bad. It's good because you get full power for the whole discharge cycle....bad because you get little...

Hmmm, shame.....that makes it too weak for me.....perhaps another year or so until battery tech improves enough. 36v, 12Ah, 1.5-2c discharge and a pack weight of 2kg. My beast of a lifepo4 pack is showing no signs of capacity degradation...nearly 2 years old now, used daily.

I'd be happy with a 2kg, 36v 12Ah battery!

Lifepo4 cells are lower voltage (3.2v) so packs tend to have more in series to get somewhere near the same voltage as other packs, how many cells in series is your pack? My "48v" lifepo4 is 57v hot off the charger. Settles to 52v but is a 16S pack.
