    Ezee controller voltage problem

Good plan, thanks. It's a bit of a longshot but I don't suppose anyone of a friendly, helpful and charitable disposition has a 48v battery and lives in Bristol do they (which is where the lady lives who bought my kit)? I used to live in Bristol but unfortunately now I'm 3.5hrs away. :-(

    Ezee controller voltage problem

Well it's been a few years since I posted anything here but I've returned for some wisdom if anyone can help. In short....does anyone know how to change an Ezee Mk2 kit from 48v setting to 36v, without access to a 48v battery? Lengthy version.....i set my kit to 48v and used it happily like...

    For Sale Ezee conversion kit

So this is still just sitting in my shed and I don't intend to use it for any further projects.....its an amazing bit of kit and such a shame to see it languishing in there.....now reduced to £150.... an absolute bargain for someone! £150

    For Sale Ezee conversion kit

Selling my Ezee 700 rim conversion kit. This is the MK2 motor with the later controller and control panel. Not an entire kit as I used my own custom made battery which I'm keeping. I have decided to take it off my hybrid bike as I no longer use this for commuting and so just want to use my bike...

    Faulty Ezee kit

In case anyone has the same issue it turns out it's not the controller. Replacing the console/wiring loom has fixed the issue. There is no visible damage to any wiring but I have my suspicions with the junction box where all the wires converge before entering the console.

    Faulty Ezee kit

So I've ordered a new controller, wiring harness and console, by process of elimination I'll see which one is faulty and return what I don't need. Cyclezee has been a great help with this. Fantastic customer service!

    Faulty Ezee kit

Thanks for the replies. The problem I'm having is that the ezee kit consists of the controller plus handlebar mounted led display. Everything else just plugs in. I have dismantled the whole thing and looked inside the controller and display, there is no sign of water ingress anywhere. All the...

    Faulty Ezee kit

Hoping for some help.... I have a Mk2 Ezee kit which has been pretty good for a fair few miles but has developed a problem. As soon as you turn it on the motor turns; not especially fast but it's still dangerous. The pedelec sensor doesn't work but the throttle still does. This is not a...

    Zoom mechanical disc brake question

I had zoom mechanical on a bike and they are crap....need constant adjusting, they are not precisely adjustable enough, the pads are TINY so not enough contact with the disc....utter rubbish. Ditch them and go hydraulic for sure...self adjusting, absolutely no maintenance required after they...

    Lithium-ion 18650 cells £1.00 each. Cardiff

Hi Andrew, I'm interested in some or all of these higher capacity cells for some 18650 flashlights. Perhaps you could pm me? Thanks

One law for the rich etc

Why bring up this over discussed issue yet again? Seriously! I'm neither agreeing nor disagreeing with you...just so bored of this particular discussion.

    battery range/charge times

If you have a lifepo4 battery then you can ignore the LED voltage indicator as it's virtually meaningless. Lifepo4 give almost full power until the moment they die so this is both good and bad. It's good because you get full power for the whole discharge cycle....bad because you get little...

    new 6000mAH cell from GEB

Hmmm, shame.....that makes it too weak for me.....perhaps another year or so until battery tech improves enough. 36v, 12Ah, 1.5-2c discharge and a pack weight of 2kg. My beast of a lifepo4 pack is showing no signs of capacity degradation...nearly 2 years old now, used daily.

    new 6000mAH cell from GEB

    I'd be happy with a 2kg, 36v 12Ah battery!

    Battery Statistics Check

Lifepo4 cells are lower voltage (3.2v) so packs tend to have more in series to get somewhere near the same voltage as other packs, how many cells in series is your pack? My "48v" lifepo4 is 57v hot off the charger. Settles to 52v but is a 16S pack.

    Abuse when wearing helmet cam

Perhaps the negatives of wearing a camera outweigh the positives? Or perhaps you could try something like this if having a camera gives you a sense of security? http://sunnycamglasses.com/products/
