What is it with the bike business? Times and times again, you see 'inventors' going back to basics, that's what this Bimoz kit is.
No gearbox, no clutch?

Mounting a direct drive motor directly onto the existing crank as a retrofit is unusual.

In that respect there is some new design and thinking.

The bicycle business is notoriously grumpy about anything new - see woosh above - so this new motor faces enormous resistance no matter whether it's any good or not.

For that reason if no other, it will probably sink without trace.
