Cycling from Delamere to Chester.

Hi ........does anybody know if it's possible to cycle from Delamere in Cheshire to Chester zoo, staying off main roads ? .... Is there a cycle path on the A54 ?

Go on google earth, get directions, click on bike symbol,done.
just looked at A54 on google earth street view there is a white line that could be a cycle path

I can be a little more definitive, there is no cycle path on the A54. However there are lots of quiet country lanes between Delamere and the Zoo, a route along these would be very pleasant and not much traffic, certainly nothing like you'd get on the big trunk roads.

Google suggests this route, far from direct, but looks a pleasant ride and it's not too long at 12 miles:
