Working in music production, I am more than familiar with the 'old school' at first sneering at new technology, then accepting it, then adopting it. To this extent I recognise and empathise with what e-MTBers are going through now, in terms of broad approval and acceptance. I, for one, am very much looking forward to converting my Rockhopper in the New Year.

Yes, there will always be the die-hards - a few of whom will choose to wear their prejudices like some kind of rebellious, or superior badge, but most opt for the adaptability, flexibility and quality in the end. There's room for all of us to get out there and have some fun - and I can't wait to give my son a run for his money on the trails! :D
