The rack mounted battery makes no difference to the handling, the standard 10Ah battery only weighs 3.2Kg and the 14Ah which has the same size case is slightly heavier at 3.8Kg, they can be easily camouflaged with a pair of panniers.
Thanks for the reply John. Can you also clarify the weight of the bike please. I see it says the Dahon Bullet is 15kgs - is that with the ebike extras or the basic bike before adding a motor/battery etc?

Also, dimensions when folded?

Hi Cricket,

The eZee Dahon Bullet is 19Kg complete with battery. The size when folded is 80cm long x 40cm wide x 70cm high.

Gosh, that's pretty good for lifting in and out the car - just over 15kgs if you take the battery off?

Sorry, one last question but how much are replacement batteries?

Thank you

Hi Cricket,

There is a choice of the 10Ah at £375 or the 14Ah at £450

Thanks for that...I hadn't thought about the fact that batteries will be an ongoing investment so it's good to know.

A replacement battery is not something you need to worry about for a few years if maintained correctly. We are now seeing 5 year old batteries that are still in good working order.
