I am waiting on a special low stack height 8 speed 11-32 DNP Epoch freewheel from Taiwan. This will allow motors such as my Mxus XF08 to drop into a standard 135 mm dropout without needing any stretching.

This freewheel will use 2.6 mm spacers (instead of 3.1 mm) and so will require a 9 speed chain. Otherwise identical to the LY-1108 HFN http://www.dnp.com.tw/zh_tw/product/multiple_freewheel

DNP Epoch freewheels are widely available in the US (about $34) but not in the EU (d8veh has some) so I am studying interest in them and maybe setting a small web shop to sell them on the continent.

It's not the stretching that's the problem. It's the offset, so anything with a lower stack-height would be better. The 8 speed would only appeal to those with 8-speed cassettes. 9-speed is more common now.
