Hi there,

I'm a relatively recent convert to the pedelec electric bike, buying a conversion kit around November last year.

It was primarily bought to improve my 8 mile commute to work.

It's been great, I no no longer get stuck in traffic or have wait for buses. My journey time is shorter and I'm a fair bit fitter. Although I'm a little frustrated by the max assist speed; 20mph would make more sense.

I'd like to share views, knowledge and experiences with other Pedelec users and, help to promote the it's use; I believe there is potential for considerable growth, especially in traffic congested cities.

Welcome

Yes the limit is annoying. But ebiking has so much potential we just need to get people to understand how easy it is to cycle locally. Oh and better infrastructure to make it safer to cycle too.
