Hi every one i am in the market for a electric bike but i have a lot of questions that need to be answered first. First i have been to 50 Cycles and had a run on there Kalkhoff Pro Connect Disc at £2,000 and was very impressed with it but as i have had two knee replacements i need to be able to stop paddling sometimes to rest my knees so the bike needs to still move along under its own power and the Kalkhoff does not do this so back to the drawing board. Another thing is if i am going to spend big money on
a electric bike what about the parts that may be needed say 2 or 3 years down the road if the firm you bought it from has went bust after all if you had a car you can get parts anywhere for them but the electric bike part may be hard to get the hold of .
Also is there an electric bike on the market that would give me the battery Mileage of the Kalkhoff Pro Connect Disc bike but would be able to power itself while i rested my knees.
