Hello
My wife has a battery for her Pendleton bicycle (pendleton-somerby-e-bike-battery-black-pre-2019). She hasn't used if for sometime. So she went to charge it today, but the light shows green and the display with a start button doesn't light up to show any indication of the battery charge strength. So we're wondering if this is the battery at fault or the charger? Any advice really welcome.

A battery most likely, we seem to have seen a few issues along the same line.
There are three secenarios:
1. Battery is dead or a cell group is.
2. The battery is out of balance due to standing for so long and has a low voltage but salvageable cell group.
3. Battery is in sleep mode and needs waking up.

If one is a competant person then opening the battery to check voltages in not beyond most peoples capability we can guide one through the process, if you have a digital voltage meter.
