Had my bike for nearly 2 years and it is needing more charge than ever is it loosing power? Just had a heart bypass and strictly peddling is very hard work,plenty slopes where I live.
Was quoted £300 for replacement Lithium they cannot supply the cheaper one,can anyone help.

Two years is a normal life for a lithium battery I'm afraid, it can be even shorter under some circumstances. Although £300 may sound steep as a replacement price, again it's fairly normal, some well known ones costing around £500 and even one at around £1000 now.

Sadly there are no substitutes, the market not being big enough to tempt in rival producers, and of course there are copyright issues on the mounting and connection arrangements.
