I'm looking to convert my old gt mtb using an alien kit but my bike currently has rockshox Indy c forks which are way to narrow to allow a front hub motor to be fitted. I know that suspension isn't needed as such but the redways in Milton keynes are very rough in places. I'm looking to find some replacement forks that will fit my bike and that are also wide enough to fit the alien kit (on v brakes).
I normally can find most things using google but it seems that the dropout spacing isn't something that is listed?? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I fitted a Bafang motor to a set of Suntor CR-V8 road forks with no issues, they seemed to be made for each other! The pitch is 108mm AFAIK but kits come with spacing washers so it's no issue fitting. Chainreaction has the Suntors on offer at the moment.

I'd recommend RockShox Dart 2's on an MTB, they'll fit, and perform better as a suspension fork, but you lose the mudguard/rack eyelets. They take either disc or v-brakes.

£85 at Evans Cycles, some place selling for £75 online.
