Well, we are exhausted after a crazy show. Some direct sales - yes, people came and put down in some cases more than £3,000 without being able to try the bikes. The season has clearly well and truely started. Stars of the show for us were the Helkama Trike which generated loads of interests, the 12" and 16" wheel Mobiky electrics which drove themselves around the hall causing a stir, and our green grass Ecobike variant aimed at students at Southampton Uni. The Storck Radar was on show, but otherwise no brands we recognised.

"I didn't know electric bikes could look cool?"
"In what way is that bike electric; what does the electric do?"
"Can you do it in different colours (tyres, saddle post etc)?"
"Pretty reasonable cost for how it is finished and what it can deliver" (liked that one)
"Such a shame there are no recharging posts around us (Lancaster) unlike what that Boris has done in London"
"What you plug it into the wall like a laptop. Get away!" (Broad Yorkshire accent)
"Can you use them to do deliveries?"
