Throttle help,

Hi the thumb throttle on my e-bike only seems to work on near full throttle, it is a 24v 10ah li ion battery and is only 3 months old,
I don't know if it has been like this since i bought the bike as I have only just started to use the throttle in anger, just been using the pedelec up till yesterday,
Any ideas guy's
