further to my problem with sunlova kit (lack of pedal assistance ) they have supplied me with new sensor but this has not made any difference at all , i can only assume it is the controller as other users of this kit are reporting 14-15mph on throttle and 15-17mph on pedal assist .this may turn into a nightmare as if it is the controller a new one won't work with my battery and rack (older type) unless anyone knows different ?

All 36v brushless controllers work with your battery and rack, but you need the right pedal sensor matched to the controller. There are two types of pedal sensor and therefore two conrollers supplied by Sunlova. Any other 36v brushless controller should also work provided that you have the right type of pedal sensor to go with it.
