They are new. The competition in the under £1000 sector is very fierce, prompting LEBC to do a deal with the source on a number of them.

The price is very good for that spec and the parts are all well known and widely used.

The only down side is the one size 46cm frame which won't suit all heights.
Well worth a visit only 10 in stock.

hi all I bought the vita uno last year when it was £695 I find it ok, im 6ft tall 13stone. I have changed a few things tyres are specialised armadillos, suspention seatpost added ,chainwheel guard and adjustable stem for handlebars and different handle bar grips. almost forgot a rear rack .

no serious problems mechanically or electric, rear spoke needed replacing and another has just broke done app 1000 miles.

it should be pointed out throttle is not full speed but pulls away to about 4mp from rest and 3 speeds low medium high for assistance.

its ok to peddle unassisted on flat slightly downward terrain, so fairly good for the current price. disk brakes all round.

range for me about 25 as I don't really assist the bike.

hope this helps ps I carry a fair bit of shopping on rear rack

Finding my (electric) wheels

I traveled up to London on Saturday to look at some electric bikes, the Vita Bike seemed good value so I thought I would look there first.
Parking was a problem but I finally found a place, her indoors went shopping in Kingston.
The London Electric Bike Company had lots of bikes, mostly KTM and Kudos but they had their own bike the Vita Uno 26. I asked the owner what is the most popular selling bike,he said the Kudos Tornado,he gave me a map to try the test route.
This was my first proper go on an electric bike, these bikes are great fun,I had no idea how quick they are. The test route didn't have any hills but it was long enough to get the idea.
Then I had a go on the Vita Uno,it wasn't as quick as the Tornado but I only need a bit of help up the hills.
I glanced round the rest of the shop, the KTM bikes looked super but I didn't want to spend that much on my first electric bike. I intended just to look and come back, but at £599.00 it seemed a good deal, the owner threw in the mudguards and lights pack which clinched the deal.
Had a long ride on the bike yesterday,I love it,it won't replace my KTM pedal bike but for short hilly trips and back from the pub,it's great.

Hi Boystoys, sorry re the Parking, the Swan pub opposite has spaces as well as serving great food and a pint, just need to know you are coming in advance so I can make sure you have a parking spot.

It was good to see you and your wife on Saturday, glad you like the Vita, its a great bike for the money. Ive used it myself on trips and found it to be a very capable e-bike. Hope you can make it to the "try an e-bike day" on the 29th March, thank you again for buying a bike from me.

all the best

Tom
