Hi just a note to say hello, i've owned an XByke since december 2008 and comute via train with a 7 mile ride each way. so 1600+ miles so far this year. very happy with it, i've even done the occasional 17 mile trip all the way home.
I've retro fitted a strap to hold on the battery (which tends to fly off on bumpy roads) Anyone fitted the new battery lock I hear is available?

Hello Jasper, welcome to the forum, there are a few of us xbike commuters around.

I didn't know that the battery lock was available yet, though I doubt I'll bother trying it, I've solved that probem with a velcro cable tie that I wrap around one of the blocks.
