i agree - and if its not got a local/high street/big brand network to back it up if any issues, then whats the point in not ebaying.... methinks there is a middle-man looking to make money .............

i thought i was being specific - sorry. i want something like the Cube hybrid ebike, but just the frame and motor, without all components, wheels, bars, etc. , or a Haibike frame+motor, or a giant frame+motor etc etc

Hi All, I've scoured the UK net up and down and was wondering if there is anyway (perhaps in EU?) to get just a raw "bones" of an eBike with a mid-motor - frame only. eg. a Cube Hybrid e Bike but just frame/motor or similar - looking at 250W here.

thanks for the input malcome - might give them a bell too well i have emailed two uk suppliers now (woosh & eclipse bikes) and both replied back that there is a throttle and it must be connected - unless they are confusing the little pad with +/- button as a throttle - either way i might just...

Hi all, I've thought i'd decided on a befang ebike 8fun mid drive kit (250w for road) and thought because it was pedelec/assisted there was no throttle, but in some places i see it has a thumb throttle or a twist throttle, in others it has just a little +/- button and power off (in both cases...

the problem with two kits, is the extra weight (and resistance?) of having the wheel with the motor but no battery attached and all the wiring... hmm the least amount of wires to connect the better, is there any system that has a wireless assist controller/panel? or even smartphone as a...
