My dealer has confirmed that through trial and error - it seems to be a controller fault. They are trying to get a spare sent, but it is getting a little late in the day for a Saturday delivery, so it looks like it will be mid next week before my new bike will be returned. Edited Dealer says...

To be honest - I bought the one from screwfix because I needed a meter on a Sunday quick, and there is a branch just down the road. It did the job, I needed to test my bikes battery as well. It did the job, but was fiddly to get working. I wouldn't spend a fortune. Maybe take a look at Amazon...

Personally I'd say NO - the description clearly states its an LCD Digital - when the picture is clearly analogue ... I smell a rat.

Not the £11 LAP Digital one from Screwfix - not good quality test leads, resulting in intermittent connections.

Bike has been collected and returned to the dealers. Hopefully, they can sort it out quickly. Will post updates as an when I myself get told whats going on.

Hopefully, the dealer will be collecting the bike tomorrow. So with a little bit of luck, I should have it back for the bank holiday weekend - just in time for the bad weather to hit.:)

I'd prefer if he would contact Matt @ Mountain Mania, who has been waiting for a call back since 10 this morning.

Any idea where this might be? All of the cables seem to be routed in the frame.
