So for a hub motor Ebike; has anyone ever tested to see you get better battery life out of spinning faster in a lower gear or grinding a bit on a higher gear. just wondering.

14 miles is on the far end of a daily commute, I currently do 17 miles in hill country, best i have done so far is twice a week , hoping to do 3 days this week. I don't bike in the city so I cant say how much time it would take, but its doable. work up to more days a week, give yourself plenty...
