Recomendations for folding bike (second bike)

My choice was based partly on where to keep it. I didn't want to leave my main bike out on my car, or a random car park over night, and thought I could store in my room, but maybe I should check for bike parking instead.

Recomendations for folding bike (second bike)

I am doing a bit of travelling, staying in B and Bs but needing to get round, so I am thinking of buying a folding electric bike. However I already have a wisper electric bike, so this would be very much a second bike. As such I dont want to spent too much, and am looking at either second hand...

Wisper 905se city in need of service

After a break of a couple of years I am now riding my wisper daily to work and I would like to get it serviced. I have not done so before, but did used to ride it 18 miles to and from work (36 miles in all), then moved, and it wasn't so good to cycle, now I have a new job, and can cycle again...

    35mile winter commute - help

18 miles I do that distance on an electric bike 2-3 times a week. The speed however I do not do unless down hill - of which there are many opportunities (I go over the chiltern hills, so it is all hills - mostly up it always seems). In derestricted mode I can average 18 miles an hour on the...

    ebike rental scheme locally

In our small town we have a go cycle team to encourage people to cycle. They include a Dr Bike (I don't think that is his real name...!) who is very nice, and good with bikes, and very impressed by my wisper. He now tells me they are thinking of offering an e-bike in their cycle rental scheme...

Fastest electric bike for long commute?

longish communte I thought I would just add a bit in here. I have a commute of 19 miles each way. I ride a wisper, and do it in 1 hour 20 (going slowly, I love the ride, and stop to watch deer, buzzards, kites etc), with no problem. I always pedal, but get lots of help going up the hills (there...

    Bike service (Wisper)

Is there a recommendation for have a bike checked over? I have done somewhere around 700 miles. Do I need a service? I did see someone called Dr Bike (a government funded position for Go-cycle in our town) who had a look at the bike recently - checked brakes, gears, tyres, wheels etc, but as...

    Wisper anomaly

If it was the sensor then it should occur without a change in the battery light. This never happens. It is only on up hills (when the light goes down, normally to red), or at the crest of a hill, when the light goes to yellow again. It is as though that change causes a momentary pause in power...

    Wisper anomaly

voltage? This is not to do with the brake (I do get that on my husbands sailsbury), has been there all along, and is only a very short burst of non power - if you can get non-power-bursts! It definitly seems to relate to the change of lights on the power indicator. I imagine the voltage sag is...

    Wisper anomaly

It is more noticable when I am going up hill, but it has occured when going from a hill to the flat, and the lights change from red to yellow, but maybe that explains it. I have learnt not to rely too much on the lights, as I know they do change up and down, and it is just a case of knowing...

    Wisper anomaly

Hi I have had my wisper for 4 months now - and loving it. Easily does nearly 20 miles over the chiltern hills most days in one go, and will do 40 if pushed ( I sometime forget the ccharger...), and I am getting better at cycling. I have noticed one thing though - it is not a problem, but...
