Thanks. does that mean if i had a 328rpm motor then I could have increased speed by down sizing the wheel setting ? That is disappointing I may have the wrong motor for the job then…. Rpm is listed is 201 so 33% uplift does not get me to 328. Can I safely put 48 v into 36v rated motor? Thanks

Hi, I need a cassette locking ring tool that will fit over the 12mm spindle of my AKM100 hub motor. Most seem to have a central guide pin, others seem to have too narrow an aperture. Any ideas?

Thanks, but my question was more about the Aikema cassette hub. I might be getting confused. The option says Freewheel :9 speed (+$10). Does that mean they are actually supplying a 9 speed cassette for $10, or the motor accepts a 9 speed cassette? I might have just answered my own question...
