    Disappointed.....

When Volt droped my bike off I got a manual, and a Instruction leaflet, spare fuses and the charger came in a box. Go to their website and check what you should have received with the bike. I'm surprised because they normally offer a pretty good after sales service.

Is it possible to derestrict Volt bikes?

Unfortally there seems no way you can now deristrict the Volts LCD unless you know the password your not the first to ask or have tried.. Until they brought out the wave LCD earlier volts just used a generic King meter display which is easy to deristrict. Once deristrict the motor is capable of...

Is it a Pedelec or an e-bike?

To me it's just somatic calling it a ebike or a pedlectric to me if has a motor and pedals no mater if the speed restrictions is 15mph or wether the power is controlled by a sensor or throttle it's a moped. The Worsed thing I believe is that these bikes got lumped with regular bikes, rather...

Can I tweak this motor to get a bit more out of it?

Most LCD menus can be accessed to give you more speed, However how you do that is not standard to all. Try holding down your menu button if you have one or try a combination of all. You should see a sub menu that allows you to change the wheel size, by setting it to the biggest you will get more...

    The future's bright...the future's Orange.(other colours are available)

Martin I thank you for your apologie, Howerver if I had not pointed the fact out I very much doubt it Admin would have placed your post to the correct section. I do get annoyed as I believe the Trade in general is aloud far to much influence in the Forum. And the fact that Admin called me out...

    The future's bright...the future's Orange.(other colours are available)

Ahh glad to see Admin is awake. Can I ask a question. Who is this Forum meant to be for The punters who buy ebikes or the trade? Personally I find the trade are given way to much lee way on the forum when it comes to spamming their product and sticking in their awe when not asked. Notice you...

Err shouldn't you be posting this in the manufacturing/dealers section rather than here, as the rules of the Forum clearly says you should?

    BikeBiz story about eBikes.

Speds will probably be made legal in the uk in 2017. What will be required of one to own one is up for discussion by the powers that be, ie will you need licence, plate, insurance, helmet. I personally have no desire to own a bike that go as fast as a moped but at the same time I have no problems...

    BikeBiz story about eBikes.

A few things that struck me on the Dongle issue 1) when speds become legal will the sale of dongles drop? 2)If I was a dealer and I was getting pressure from the trade to stop selling dongles what's to stop me quietly setting up a secondery business In a different name to sell dongles. 3)When...

    E-Bike over 250W Legal??

What i don't understand they claim the bike is CE and EN15194 approved.

    E-Bike over 250W Legal??

Nice, good price but not road legal. It has a top speed of 35kph cruise control button and the motor is 1000w that's been programmed down to 500w though he supplies software that allows you to take it down to 250w or up to a 1000w! If I was in the market for a new bike I'd be tempted.

    Storm electric bike.

This is just the Joules bike rebadged or clone and its sells on eBay for £700 and does seem a good buy for the price. However it does not fold unlike most 20" wheel bikes. I like the design of this and once my volt dies its on my maybe list.
