If you like building to standards, why not buld for DVSA throttle approval?

yes that is my plan i have to reapply for my motorbike licence i have been blind for over 5 years and i am 72 years old i am building a scratch buildt combination with powered trailer for touring and wild camping it is 50% there i have the alloy. frame made and a lot of componants collected but i cant afford. to finnish it till next. summer so i have a self buildt pedal assist restricted bike my moan is no one really seems to. know what the rules are the law is full of mistakes and contradictions i am asking these questions to help all of us normal mortals to do it

ps i never said i have had an op to restore my sight i am in recovery i waited for 20 years for NHS to do the op as my vision deteriorated a whole other story

There is nothing complicated about the rules. It's just that many stupid people can't understand simple English, and they try to make them more complicated than they are. I listed them for you here in a way that you should be able to understand them:

Ah - 'the wonderful NHS' - 'Our NHS' - that terrible self serving organisation which in spite of its manifest failings, manages to still retain credibility - especially among the left even when funded at its highest ever rate.

That said - I do know that it has some very good clinicians and dedicated people. I don't include those self serving young doctors who in spite of just having had the largest pay settlement in the Public Sector, still went on strike demanding more within a few months of the last settlement. It is alas just part of the death throws of a once excellent organisation and the metastasising cancer of 'entitlement' into a once very highly regarded profession of great public servants.
