my car is chain drive , and have chained since 1966 , so if we ''shorten'' the chain by one roller ,basic you cant - so you have to remove 4 rollers (2 links) and inset a link and a half (3 rollers . this ''half'' link is available from good motor bike shops , hope that explains links .

why not just count the rollers?

I think the white wires No 7 are the 15 mph limiter when connected ? Other than wires I have not a clue . Hope you sort it soon .

Well I am dead electric wise , so apart from cable colours I know nothing about , should a fault occur on my bike I will seek advice on the forum , lets hope you get the moped going as it will boost the sale

Billyboya , let’s hope you manage the sale , if you decide to get another Erider 15 just make a offer for mine it’s less than 00250 k on the speedo ;) and arrange own delivery , but serious though a normal Ebikes is a better buy .

Hi billy boys , on my Erider 15 there is a main fuse under the seat , it is a normal household RSB (?) , if it has tripped just switch it back on , I don’t know if there is any other fuse on the e15 , hope it is something simple . A e bike is better than the e rider it’s less...

My 15 came boxed new from Erider a couple of years ago , it’s 48 volt , and always ride with lights on in daylight , have never had battery out . As you say it could be 2 24 volt wired in series .

Billyboya , can’t you use 2 self tapping screws with washer at the front of mat (bottom of leg shield ) or use 2 x black car number plate plastic nuts/bolts . l charge in the garage with the charger plugged into the bike ... yes it is a kettle style plug . Also the Erider forum is total crap I...

Hi billyboya , great little bike , even with the white wire disconnected it manages 20mph . Battery life is good for around 17 mile flat-going , but uncomfortable to Pedal , all in all “a good looking nowt” :(
