    Bosch bikes under £1600??

That's true :D Some of us are guilty of lulling our selves into a false sense of security. But seriously for a moment, I'm glad it's not me having to make the choice as I'd want to do up the VW and get the bike out of the same money Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

CST Motor connection lead - what are the 5 pins ?

Over size bolt.. Turn down to create a plain shoulder, turn the rest down to correct size then thread it.. Or just make a sleeve to reduce the hole size. You always wanted a small lathe :p Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Q100/EB306 Current Settings

I'll give it a close examination tomorrow as I have the right raving hump with it at the moment, and we all know what happens to things when we are in that kind of mood, lol I think I will see if its still programmable before embarking on on the examination, just in case the crash of drums and...

    Q100/EB306 Current Settings

Lol.... kinda I arrived at the same but still a little bit of roughness... so I decided in my infinite wisdom to continue running through the possibilitys. I returned the motor phases to normal and redid the halls.. got as far as yellow to green green to blue blue to yellow which I think was...

    Q100/EB306 Current Settings

Ok.. Matched hall colours and motor low speed runs rough with excessive current, so will have to have a game of swapping and see if it can be improved Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bike "Computer"

Why ? The magnet is in two pieces... undo the screw, split it into it two parts, place side 1 on the spoke, place side 2 onto side 1 and do the 'screw up' :D

    Q100/EB306 Current Settings

By coincidence my EB306 turned up today, just need to change the brake and power plugs to sockets and I'll give it a test and see how it runs. Very important to make sure that the halls are properly connected as that can cause roughness

    Bosch Crank DIY, Possible?

Hi muckymits Not really... lol Strength of weld is fine but not 'pretty', the quality achievable with mig fluxed wire is no where as good as when using CO2 or better still a argon/co2 mix The only good things about fluxed is that the welders are dirt cheap & great for using as a spot welder...

Why are motorbikes so much better value than bicycles?

Volume production for the world wide market rather than nich ?

    Bosch Crank DIY, Possible?

Indeed so. However apart from the fact that the Q100 d8veh steered me towards is overall much more of an elegant solution (wish I'd of done it first rather than second) I was hoping to keep the gng throttle at fullish and use the AW hub gears as the speed control .. lol

    Bosch Crank DIY, Possible?

Which of course is a great solution (which comes with other minor issues, lol) I've ordered the spokes and a hub to convert my 350W to hub drive instead of derailer which will either go bang or be a major leap for mankind
