Just up the battery voltage... Not sure with d8veh's % comparing 12s lipo to 48v but he is normally right :p But a 48v pack & charger will certainly be the simple option & just mod your existing controller for the correct Lvc, or get a 48v one at the same time as the battery if you don't fancy...

The KU90 controller comes in different variations, lol all with the same label, but afaik no 3 speed connector, I do have a spare 48v one :p Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is the thin red wire you are referring to on the socket from the battery to the controller .... ? If so, then that the problem.. Black is battery - Red (thicker one) is battery + Red (thinner one) is also battery + and will switch the controller on when its connected to the thicker red wire...

BMS make their own logic as to where the 2 wires go on the battery connector, if on the section that's connected to the battery E is used, then you will have to use E on the part that goes to the controller.... Just change the connections on the plug & socket as required. Sent from my iPhone...

Which reminds me.... On my last over night hospital stay, the man in the next bed (who IMHO should of been sectioned) got very cross and accused my wife of stealing his cloths... So I had to speak to him quite firmly with a firm promise of what would happen if he kept it up, lol Anyway night...
